As many as 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year. If you are from a black and minority ethnic (BME) group there are specific issues which may affect you.
This booklet provides basic information on the specific issues you may face, as well as more general information on topics such as medication, physical health, alternative treatments and drugs and alcohol. It also includes a list of services specifically for BME groups, and details of where to get more information on any of the issues which may affect you.
