Getting more from your GP practice

This leaflet is for people with a diagnosis of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression) and for anyone involved in supporting them.

The 2004 contract for GP practices changed the way practices provide care for people suffering from schizophrenia and manic depression. This leaflet aims to help sufferers get the most from their GP practice and includes information on practice registers, physical health checks, medicines and mental health.
